GeoStamp respects user privacy. This Privacy Policy explains how GeoStamp collects, uses, stores, and protects user data while the app is being used.
Information Collected
Account Information
- User name.
- Google email address.
- Google profile photo or a profile photo selected by the user.
- Full name entered or updated by the user.
Attendance and Location Data
- Attendance photos and saved location documentation photos.
- Record date and time.
- GPS coordinates, including latitude and longitude.
- Address or area information when available.
- Location name, contact phone, and additional notes in Save Location when entered by the user.
- Data synchronization status.
Schedule and Technical Data
- Work schedules, start time, end time, work days, and reminder settings.
- Synchronization connection status and error information related to synchronization or data storage.
- App version and production code used to check update availability.
- Optional watermark logo selected by the user from the gallery.
How Data Is Used
- Identify app users.
- Record photo, time, and location-based attendance.
- Store field location documentation.
- Display attendance and location history.
- Send attendance reminders through Android notifications.
- Synchronize local device data to the server and download server data back to the device.
- Help users create reports or export data.
- Help users share attendance or location data to other apps such as WhatsApp.
- Check whether an app update is available on Google Play.
- Improve app reliability.
Data Storage
GeoStamp stores data in local device storage and on the GeoStamp server. Local storage allows the app to keep working in weak-signal areas or without internet. When internet is available, local data can be synchronized to the server and server data can be downloaded back to the user's device.
Camera and Location
GeoStamp uses the device camera to take attendance and location documentation photos. Photos may receive a watermark containing GeoStamp, user name, email, time, coordinates, location information, and an optional watermark logo if enabled by the user.
GeoStamp uses device location to obtain GPS coordinates when users take attendance or save a location. GeoStamp does not use location to continuously track users in the background.
Google Login and Notifications
GeoStamp uses a Google account for login. Data used may include email, account name, and profile photo when available. The Google email address is used as the GeoStamp account username.
GeoStamp may send Android notifications as attendance reminders based on work schedules created by the user.
Ads and Advertising ID
GeoStamp may display ads through Google Mobile Ads or AdMob, including interstitial ads before certain actions such as sharing data or exporting CSV. Ad requests are configured as non-personalized ads.
The ads SDK may access the device Advertising ID according to Google Play policies and the user's Android settings. GeoStamp does not sell user personal data to third parties.
Third-Party Data Sharing
Data is used or processed only for app operations, server synchronization, Google login, Google Maps, update checks, ads, and Android system features such as camera, location, notifications, and file sharing.
If users use sharing or export features, selected data may be sent to another app chosen by the user, such as WhatsApp, WhatsApp Business, email, cloud storage, or messaging apps.
Data Security
GeoStamp works to protect user data by storing local data on the user's device, using server connections for synchronization, and limiting data collection to what is needed for app functions.
No storage or internet transmission method is completely risk-free. Users are advised to keep their device and Google account secure.
User Rights
- Change profile photo.
- Export data.
- Delete local data from history.
- Sign out of the account.
- Configure notifications.
- Remove or change the watermark logo.
- Choose not to run manual synchronization when it is not needed.

Children's Data
GeoStamp is not specifically intended for children under 13 years old. If the app is used in an educational or organizational environment, data use should follow the policies and consent of the authorized party.

This Privacy Policy may be updated from time to time. Changes apply after the latest version is published through the app, website, or official distribution page.
