Install and Start

This guide explains the first steps after installing OmniCode on Android.

Install the app

1. Install the OmniCode APK on your Android device.
2. Open OmniCode from the app launcher.
3. Grant camera permission when Android asks for it. This permission is required for live scanning.
4. If you want to scan from saved images, allow gallery or photo access when requested.

First screen

The Home screen shows the OmniCode logo, quick actions, and the Today summary. Use the bottom navigation to move between Home, Mode, Scan, History, and Settings.

Light and dark mode

Tap Mode in the bottom navigation to switch between light and dark mode. This only changes the app appearance and does not affect your saved history.

Advertisements

Each main page includes a footer area reserved for navigation and an ad banner slot. Ad availability can depend on connection, region, and ad service readiness.
