History keeps scan results and generated codes that you choose to save. It is useful when you need to reopen a code, copy the original data, or share it again without scanning or creating it from the beginning.
What appears in history
- Scan items: QR codes and barcodes detected from the camera or image scanner.
- Created items: QR codes and barcodes you created and saved.
- Favorites: important items that you mark so they are easier to find later.
How to use history
- Open the History tab from the bottom navigation.
- Use the filter row to show all items, scanned items, created items, or favorites.
- Tap an item to open the saved result.
- Use the available result actions such as copy, share, or reopen the original content.
Local storage note
History is stored on your device. OmniCode does not use login, a backend, a server database, or cloud synchronization to store history. If app data is cleared from Android settings, the saved history can also be removed. For important codes, share or save the generated image outside the app as a backup.
When data leaves your device
History data is not sent automatically. Data leaves your device only when you choose an action such as share, open link, email, SMS, WhatsApp, or another app.
