Sequential and Cut & Stack

NumPress supports production-oriented numbering modes.

Sequential

Sequential mode fills each sheet from the first position to the last position before moving to the next sheet.

Example with 4 numbers per sheet:

Cut & Stack

Cut & Stack mode is used when sheets are cut into stacks and then arranged so the final pile remains in correct sequence.

This mode is useful for tickets, coupons, or forms that will be cut and bundled after printing.

Choosing a mode

• Use Sequential when sheets are used as printed or when sequence per sheet is expected.
• Use Cut & Stack when the print result will be cut into stacks and ordered after cutting.
